Trip to Becca's

Becca just got married and moved to Logan, so I went up there this weekend to visit with her and Louis and to see their new home. I got up there on Sunday after church because I had to teach my first lesson to my CTR 5 class. When I got up there she cooked us dinner, we had tortellini with rolls that she made my scratch and jello. She is such a home maker! Then Louis went to bed because he works graveyards, so Becca and I made my favorite cake in the whole wide world....1-2-3 CHOCOLATE CAKE. It is the bestest cake ever! :) Then we played Nintendo the rest of the night. The next morning we had to run around and do a few things, but after that she took me to there mall up there in Logan, personally I don't think that you can call it a mall, but that is what it is.... a mall...... the smallest mall ever! After the mall we went to a few more places and looked around. At one of those places I found a purse that I have been looking for forever. It made me so happy. Then she took me to the ZOO! :) It wasn't very big, but the best part was that it was only $1. Can you believe it? It was a lot of fun. We walked around and looked at all the animals and we feed the ducks. Oh how I love the zoo. After the zoo we went back to her house and got Louis so we could and get a late lunch. For lunch we went to Firehouse Pizza (Louis favorite place to eat). It was pretty good too. After lunch it was time to head for home because I had dance and I had a two hour drive ahead of me. Thanks Louis and Becca for inviting me up there I had lots of fun!

Gone Fishin'

Last saturday my Daddy and I went fishing. It was tons of fun! We went up to a dam near Echo, I can't remember the name of it though. We were there forever and neither of us caught anything so my dad decided to walk around to a different part of the lake, I just stayed with all of our stuff. I still didn't catch anything to I took of the spinner and put of flies to see if that would work. While I was doing that my dad came back and he said that he still didn't catch anything either. So he asked if I would redo his pole and put flies on as well. When I did it I put two flies on and when I was finished on the flies was really close to the bubble and my dad was complaining that he would catch anything on that one because it was so close. But he cast out anyway and you will never guess what happened. He caught a fish.....and it was on....the short fly. :D He was like that is what I get for saying something about it. It was so funny. We caught a total of two fish and I didn't catch either of them, although my dad made me take a picture of holding one of the fish he caught because he didn't want me to take a picture of him...silly dad! It was so much fun, I love fishing! Thanks dad for coming with me!

Party night

Yesterday Robin and Lina came or to the house and we cooked dinner and talked and played Apples to Apples. I suck at that game so much, I think we played nine games and I only had one card. :( Then after the game we decided to go to a movie. We went and saw Love Happens. It was not at all what I was expecting, but it was still supper good. It was a fun night!

State Fair

On Saturday Polly, Tonia and I went with Brooke and Cassandra to the state fair. I have lived in Utah all my life and I have to admit that I have never been to the state fair. It was tons of fun!!! And one of the best parts was that we all got in for free! Brady, Brooke's husband, had to work there on Saturday so they gave him free tickets for his family. When we got there we went and looked at all the animals.....cows, birds, bunnies, pigs, goats, and sheep. When we went and saw the cows there was one that was HUGE it was a bull. I bet that it was at least two regular cow put together. Before we walked around to see the animals we went and saw a shark encounter show. This guy was crazy. He went swimming with the sharks, but not only was he just swimming with them but he was playing with them. He would turn one of the sharks over and play it like a guitar. It was awesome. They told us that the three sharks that they had were just little and they will grow to be over 6 feet long. They got the these sharks of the coast of the Florida Keys and will return them when they start getting bigger and then they would catch more, after they let the other go. That was way neat to see! Anyway after we walked around and looked at the animals we walked around and looked at the booths. That is when Brooke and I got our tattoos. Don't worry they were only henna. I got mine on my foot and Brooke got hers on her lower back. After we got our tattoos Polly went and bought a bunny. She was so so so EXCITED, she has wanted a bunny FOREVER! Her bunny is so cute with her floppy ears and her golden brown and white coat. Polly is not sure of what she is going to name her bunny but she is thinking Butterscotch. We had so much fun it was a great day. Thanks Brooke and Brady!

Dance....Dance....Dance

I started clogging on Monday! Polly and me are in the same class.....it is so so so much fun. The funny thing is that we are in a class with about 20 five year old! I have to say that I felt a little weird at the start but by the time class was almost over I didn't feel weird any more, besides we all have to start some where right? Man I never realized how coordinated you have to be to do clogging.....one leg goes one way, while the other leg is going in the opposite direction, and then on top of that they are both doing different things. Lets just say that my feet are going to be pretty amazing when this year is over. :)

Friend Day

Taryn, Robin, Parker and me decided to go to the movies, to lunch, and bowling. We went to go see The Time Travlers Wife. It was a very very dumb movie, the ending was the worst thing ever. But after that we made our day better from seeing a stupid movie to going to Cafe Rio. YAY for Cafe Rio it is our favorite! After lunch we went bowling at Fat Cats. I bowled awesome!! After bowling we came back to our house and played games. It was a fun day!

Becca's Wedding

On the 18th of August Becca and Louis were sealed in the Ogden Temple for time and all eternity. It was a great day! We were at the temple at eleven and then we had the luncheon at two and then the reception at six to nine. She looked to BEAUTIFUL, and he looked great! They were so happy. They are so perfect for each other! Congrats you two!!

Bear lake trip

Around the first of August I went with the Evenson's to a cabin in Bear lake that Claire got us. We went for a weekend and it was so much fun! We all drove different cars because we all couldn't fit into one or even two. We actually had five! Crazy I know. Well any way it was me, Taryn, and Robin in my car. Driving up we decided to go through Wyoming because we were told it was faster. Yeah it was not faster at all, but it was a fun drive! When we finally got up there it was FREEZING! It was cold that whole weekend but started warming up on sunday and then finally warmed up all the way on monday and of course that was when we where going home. So since it was so cold we decided to go to a cave. The cave was tons of fun and beautiful! While it was raining after we got back from the cave, we stayed at the cabin and played tons and tons, oh did I mention TONS of games! Like RISK, SPOONS, TABOO, and many, many others. We played Risk so many times I can't even count how many. Lets just say I learned to love that game. :) Then on monday when it cleared up we finally got to go to the beach. The water was so high that we could walk out probably about a good 250 yards before we couldn't touch any more. That is when Robin dragged me and Polly out to where we couldn't touch and left us there on a floaty. When we finally got back in to the beach I start finding sea shells with Taryn, and that wasn't to hard because on the beach you could reach down and pick up a hand full. That was tons of fun! After the beach it was time for our jorney home, but we couldn't forget to get the famous raspberry shakes. YUM YUM! Over all the Bear Lake trip was some much fun! Thanks Claire for getting the cabin and inviting us!
